    Default Any reason spies don't do anything now?

    Hi. Using latest DeI, Ancient Empires, and a bunch of smaller graphic/atmospheric mods. Is there a particular reason that I can't use my spy to sabotage armies/assassinate etc? Those options exist as a list, but I can't click on them, or rather, they don't do anything when I do try to select them. Makes spy traits kinda useless. What have I missed? Thanks.

    Have you considered that this is a bug and most likely due to AE and not DeI as spies work perfectly fine in my game

    I just finished up a coop session and had no drama's poisoning or assassinating.

    AE intentionally removes agent actions except the stances and assasination/maniulation.

    Yes TFCAliarcy, well you may aask, for it ain't posted anywhere I can see clearly. I wrote this:

    "Hello. A while ago I posted that I was having some strange battle behaviour in my battles with DeI. I was using KAM's battle mod, the experimental version, along with Ancient Empires, which also boasts the overhauled 1hp combat system. The behaviour that disturbed me the most was that enemy units always fought to the last man; it took over 90% loses to even start seeing wavering behaviour, even when I had flanked, attacked in the rear etc. I mean I even had a Celtic light skirmishing unit of 200 lose 199 men before it started to even show signs of wavering. Completely unrealistic. I think I've narrowed it down to a conflict with KAM's mod and Ancient Empires; when I disable KAM's mod, but keep AE, I see more realistic behaviour happening again, with units routing when they receive shocks or lose large numbers, depending, of course, on their starting quality. Have others had this issue? If do, we're they also running AE and KAM? How was it fixed? Just trying to prove the solution I think I've found, given if I'm right, I won't be the only one with issues, and others will have been there before me. Grateful responses.

    ...and KAM responded that his mod and AE were never meant to be put together. Great to know clearly now, but complete news to me, unless I missed something, which is always possible, nay, even probable. That is what I meant by conflict over kill rates.

    Well wht did you expected when you put together TWO DIFFERENT combat systems?

    That does seem to be a common mistake in the steam page for AE.

    Well, for you gurus, not an issue. For the rest of us, more of a revelation. Especially dealing with something like AE which is so much more than a different combat system? In hindsight, yea...probably ain't gonna work. But yes, will spread the news; people will find it useful to know. In the meantime, maybe a good idea to let people know what's compatible and what ain't with your mod.

    Above all, still great that people like me can have a choice of mods like these. Would be stuffed without modders for sure, even if it's a torturous path to walk sometimes. So cudos and thanks.

    You won't be able to run AE without DeI....

    They are simply different gameplay wise.

    Depends on what you like, I never played AE campaign as I have only time to work on DeI. Also I think AE starts in different period then DeI.
