Starting game crash

Every time I load the game with the MOS sub mod its starts to load then for some odd reason crashes and closes it and takes me back to my desktop. I've tried the Daylight saving time thing and ive downloaded all the patches for third age total war and the MOS sub mod. But when i tried to open it without the MOS sub mod it still crashed. Anyone know what to do?
