    Default enabling or disabling fast writes?

    hi all

    what should i do what are the performance decreses and increases if i turn on/off fast writes in my bios ?
    could fast writes be actually causeing my game to crash ?

    yes fast writes has been directly linked to system instability on many machines. disable it in the BIOS or in ATT and see how you go.

    Technicly it diden't have to mean majority when I said "many".

    i was getting random lockups when my memory timing was on 'auto' in my bios.

    looked up the specs for my ram and set them accordingly.

    fastwrites disabled also helped.

    ive 2 different makes of ram tho m8 and using 1.5 gig so i wont be able to use the timming feature will i?
