Install Instructions(Steam) For those who can't figure it out.
I noticed that the instructions were pretty crappy. Didn't tell you exactly what you needed to do. Below I will explain.
Steam Users
1. Download and Install clean Rome Total War & Alexander
2. Copy&Paste Alexander over Rome Total War(Yes override all files) *Steam/Steamapps/Common both Rome Total War and Rome Total war Alexander should be in here.
3. Get 2.5 installer&2.6 patch (Located on this very forum)
4. Have the install direct towards The Rome Total War folder with Alexander pasted over it. Steam/Steamapps/Common/Rome Total War or Rome Total War Gold
5. Rename the folder to Rome Total War Alexander
6. Direct towards the launcher folder(Inside Steam/Steamapps/Common/Rome Total War Alexander(Now Renamed)) and click the application inside named Roma Surrectum II.
7. Select your faction, Select any other additional settings and make sure you have the Alexander exe selected
8. If it errors and ask for chat filter simply go into the folder used above and click Alexander folder and click data folder then find it below all the folders copy it and paste it in the data section of the main folder.
*If you are having issues after finishing all the steps. Make sure that the copy and pasted folder is the only one with Rome Total War name..as in no other folders with the name. Meaning rename anything left over what ever you'd like*
As for just Rome no Alexander I assume the process is similar just skip steps 1-4 and for 5 just rename it Rome Total War or Rome Total War Gold depending on what steam names it inside the Common folder and use the Rome exe of course when selecting which exe to use.
This should greatly help those with either crashes or total baffled by the confusing instructions. This is for steam only.
