Confronted with more romans than you can shake a stick at from the off. Was wondering what others players see as good opening moves for the campaign?

Take Genua and Brundisium, fence off Pyrrhus in Lucania, capture the fort of Consentia in Bruttium and then take Rhegium.
With those three additional cities you will almost break even. Take another city and it should be done. Don't forget to raise your tax rates.

Thanks. I did try to take Tartentum to begin with. That army stationed there is pretty devastating!
