    Haha!

Public order can seem like a real menace if you're new to the mod. Once you get the hang of it, it's manageable enough using buildings, agents, army stances, edicts, etc.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

first playthrough I'm putting effort into and my first reaction is temples but then that gives the local ais time to reinforce there holdings. Too scared to risk rebellion so early on though.
On another thread I've been told that Egypt is a good starting point, any opening tips?

Some ones that new users may not realize right away:
    - Don't put armies in towns, put them in the region in Patrol Region stance.
    - Dignitaries are now governors and are very good at it (deploy them in the region)
    - You can use a single general to be a governor in a garrison and give him skills for that/level him up
    - DeI in general is a slower progress in the campaign so its okay to take it slowly.

    Starting tips for Ptolemaioi:
-You start in a good diplomatic situation, so you can get a lot of money for making trade agreements with the surrounding factions. You can then invest this money into your cities and armies.
-You start off in a very good military situation, and the money that you get from diplomacy can go straight towards filling your ranks to capacity, if you're worried about invasion or revolts.
-The Seleukids & Cyrenaica make good targets if you're looking to expand quickly.
-Don't forget to keep an eye on culture and public order. Remember that it's not the end of the world if you have a revolt.

    Have fun!
