Defensive battle deployables

Love the mod. Been playing for years... Is there any way to make the stakes and fire pits avaliable for the Romans for regular defensive battles? Right now they are only available during sieges

I believe they should be available during defensive battles. The AI uses them. Rafkos added this a long time ago

Yeah, they're only available in city and fortification battles - also river battles I think, if the defending army is in fortification stance.

I don't think we should add them to all battles though. Yeah, the AI uses them, but it just puts them in a big line, then runs right over its own traps.

Isn't there an army perk which makes them available in normal battles? I think it's under the green upgrade-tree.

Yep its under the tree that give you 1.5% armor bonus.

Just like your generals gain XP, your armies do so too. If you rank up the "green flag" chain, you will get a sub trait of that chain which gives you deployables.
