No AI armies in Custom Battle

I just downloaded DEI and I was intending to get used to the new battle mechanics by engaging in a few custom battles, however the AI is not selecting any armies. Is this a bug, and can it be fixed using a sub-mod?

I believe you need to choose the army for them. Unless you choose a quick battle or something like that. In Custom Battle you need to click the AI faction icon at the top and pick their units

It is always the case with mods that add new units. Ai will pick army if you will click for it to pick an army but won't do it automatically as it simply does not have those units in base templates.
