    Hey guys!
    Got a real treat for you today!
    I know Creative Assembly did their own lets play but I was there and I asked permission to record the footage with a developer, so check it out!



    Hope you enjoy!
    Tried my best to get some campaign map details but they weren't quite ready yet to reveal much there, I hope I got some new interesting information or footage for you!

    Great preview Joe, your excitement really rubs off when I watch this haha.

    Also want to take this oppertunity to say this game looks pretty damn amazing so far, can't wait for the pre-orders to open up! Good job CA it really seems like you've nailed the Warhammer style!

    Indeed, details and units are absolutely fantastic. Hope they will show similar battle with Vampire Counts vs The Empire, and better a siege battle... perhaps to show us how Imperial Cities will look like.

    About as close as it could get on Thorgrimm within 1 or 2 hits from the spider...

    So did you find out system specs of the demo system? Most reviewers have been saying smoother than Rome II but I am about to upgrade so am extra curious.

    Cheers Joe. Dat UI is nice, love the artwork style unit cards.

    I think the unit sizes need to be bigger, hopefully that will be able to be modded. First thing I will do most likely. I like 200-300 per unit, CA, GUISE - since there is no more naval disembarkements can you give the option to increase muh unit size?

    Also Other Joe lmao so random.

    The lighting was pretty different in this video. Is it randomized? Also, are giant breath attacks a thing in TT?

    We have actually seen flamethrowers before in Total War.

    Also, are giant breath attacks a thing in TT?
    Giants in the TT are a bit special. They don't attack like every other unit in the game. You instead roll on lists with weird special attacks. One for small targets one for large targets.

    One of these attacks is Yell and Bawl

    The Giant yells and bawls at the enemy.
    This is not a pleasant experience, as Giants
    are deafeningly loud and tend towards poor
    oral hygiene. Neither the Giant nor models in
    contact with him actually fight if they have
    not already done so this round.
    The Giant's side automatically wins the combat.


    Basically the giant automatically wins the engagement and his enemies have to take a leadership test to see if they break or not.
    All of the giants attacks we've seen so far are based on his TT rules which is an awesome detail imho.

    The others are Swing with Club, Squash and Eat.

    I can't wait for the Vampire Counts reveal. For me it's the faction I look forward to most. Hopefully it's not that far off.

    Agreed. I'm most interested in how they will do necromancy and ethereal units.

    Wow thanks for the info. Let's see, so far we've seen: Yell and Bawl, Thump with Club, Swing with Club, Eat, Hurl/Throw Back Into Combat, and Jump Up and Down (Stomp? Cause it would look kind of stupid if he actually did that).

    Only TT rule for the giants I haven't seen is the falling down where in TT (at least from rule book, never played with or vs giant) a giant has a chance to trip and fall potentially crushing some models nearby but also has to roll to stand back up and while prone is not dishing out the damage.

    If you look closely in the official walk through, when the dead giant falls, his body knocks back the slayers in the area of impact. I'm not sure if it does damage but it's nice to see CA adding so much from the TT.

    I think Ichon means not the death falling down crush but rather the TT random attack of the giant tripping and falling, and then getting back up. Dices, dices all around!
