Default Hun stacks - composition fully scripted or adaptive AI?

    Hi all veterans,

I recently restarted my ERE camaign from an earlier save to avoid some mistakes from my first Attila take. While I had several encounters with Huns in the first get go and destroyed about 11 stacks, I missed Hun encounters between 1406 and 1420 in that run, they seemingly avoided the ERE. By 1423 the Hun spam was over anyway, Attila dead.

Now I tried to more actively defend allies and have more forward based stacks. After I defeated several Hun stacks in Pannonia, I am in 416 A.D. - still pre Attila himself - recently approached by Hun stacks with a radical different composition: Most sword and axe melee, no more than 6 cavalry. As I defeated the Huns several times with clearly spear centered armies and the new composition is a perfect counter for that I am curious:

Are Hun hordes fully scripted or is there some kind of adaptive AI at work? I assume the first, but nevertheless ask :-).

    Edit: Question closed, fully scripted.

    Regards,
    Thorsten

The Huns do field occasional infantry armies and they are actually pretty dangerous as their heavy infantry is surprisingly nasty.
