Today I would like to show Eastern Armored Legio.
Are you surprised to see lorica segmentata?

Whether KLA makes great unit skins is not to be questioned!
"Roman Legionary 284-337"
''Their plate armour, the so-called lorica segementata,
may seem anachronistic, but a growing body of finds from late 3rd- and early 4th-century contexts
at Carlisle and León (base of VII Gemina; the legion may have supplied a vexillation to
Constantine’s army), suggest it was still in limited use (Bishop 2013).''

I am surprised but would have even more surprised if you surprised us with a leather segmentata surprise.
Well done.

A myriad of fragments/etc. from 19 distinct segmentatas were found at a warehouse in Leon, belonging to Legio VII Gemina and dating to the last quarter of the 3rd century AD, yes. Their deposit date suggest they were actually in use sometime between 250-299 AD, assuming they were deposited between 275-299.
I'm not aware of any late 3rd or early 4th century finds from Carlisle.
I like the reskin! They need belts and scabbards though. Other stuff I could nitpick but frankly you're still using vanilla Rome 2/Attila models from the looks of it and all of that stuff desperately needs to be re-modeled.
@Gaiten don't even bring up the leather segmentata... Di Immortales olim quid illum invocabunt.
I am afraid a few finds dating from early in Constantines reign found in Britania 'perhaps' supplied to a vexillation, is a bit of a stretch for me to be seen in a whole legio during the fourth and fifth century
It just seems to "wrong" to me, I just couldn't get into a campaign seeing LS in fifth century. It is not work I am criticising the workmanship is excellent. It's just the archaeology
