Awesome Assasin

Okay, so I decided to ditch my Turkish game as all I was doing was getting into small skirmishes with the weak Byzantine army. I was owning them, anyway. Back to topic. So i started a Danish game and I recruited my first assassin and my first spy and decided to wreak havoc on Europe. I sent them on numerous sabatoge missions together, all I might add, on my own Allies so they have to use and spend more money on repairs and less on troops and expansion. I succeeded many times, but there were a few close calls. I also decided to assassinate many faction leaders and generals, again, many times they succeeded, many times they failed.

As for my assassin, he is great, probably one of the best assassin's on the forums, seeing as how you guys hate assassins

You're missing the poisoner retinue to get to rank 10. Getting an assasin up to 10 isn't hard at all. Target rank 0 merchants and diplomats and you'll hit rank 10 in no time.

Had a rank 10 assassin once. I used him to assassinate the french king that was bringing an army of crusaders to antioch (which was owned by me at the time and I didn't need everyone declaring war on me). So half way through his trip I selected my 10 rank assassin and checked his chances. Only 6% chance hmmmm. Thought bugger it, if he's gonna be as useless as a rank 3-4 assassin that has a 5% chance I'll give it a shot anyway. Blind luck he gets him on the first try and the crusader army disperses shortly after. Was pretty good feeling committing regicide too hehe.

Quite far in my English campaign I was looking for some guild HQ, so I mass trained a bunch of assassins and spies and sent them on various missions until I thought they were able to go look in major cities for HQ.

So far I've gained the Mason HQ, Woodsmith, and Assassins
