    We don't have red pikes because we use our own custom pikes which are the correct size, vanilla pikes were actually way too small.

    Okay.. but can you make them red? Its a big selling point for me.

    @JPrice94 as long as weapons donīt work completely different from anything else, it should be fairly easy to do this by yourself.
    Just extract the correct .dds file and paint the wooden texture red.

    then copy and rename the pike rigid_model_v2, then edit it with a hex editor to use the new dds and you have created a new weapon

    but why should I hex edit a feature that (lets face it) everybody wants? If everybody did it imagine the man hours wasted that could be spent curing diseases or watching cats in boxes on the internet.

    Because you learned how to do it yourself and can post it in a thread in your own!
    There's even a thread from the devs titled: Contribute to the mod - Don't be a freeloader!
    If it's a feature you could create yourself, why not do so?

    Just look at the DeI submod subforum, it's full of people creating their own content

    This preview is actually very old and we changed most of these units appearance since.
    AE Dev, mainly units
