Glad someone got it to work but I can asure you I have not.
this is my launch option same as the name of the file in my mod folder --features.mod=mods/SS6.3
It starts launching the mod says Stainless steel 6.4 in text across the Picture of a man with a White shield with a red cross and wielding a sword for all of 1-2 secs and then im back in the steam games list
Oh yeah maybe should mention that I have tryed every other way/workaround suggested of 5-10 hours of searching the web... All end up not working with different results. Also im running windows 7 atm so ive taken the steps suggested for that aswell even tho I found no indications of problems caused by it.
Think the process has caused me to grow a few new white hairs in excess of the ones that just turned gray during it all.. What a waste of a day.
I am having excatly the same problem with SS6.4. Please help.
SS6.3 loaded fine and showed menu. SS6.4 CTDs with no errors after few secs after showing SS6.4 loading screen.
EDIT. I have solved problem by reapplying 6.4 patch. There was a checkbox at the end of installation to set scripts and campaign.
