Is "exclusive" taken literally in PFM ?
In a favorite, already existing mod , there is a unit I want to make available to all Hellenic factions , or, at least, to a few other Hellenic factions.
however , the unit has no entry in , "units_to_groupings_military_permissions_tables/units_to_groupings_military_permissions"
The units entry is in , "units_to_exclusive_faction_permissions/units_to_exlusive_faction_permissions"
If I add new rows in , " units_to_exclusive_faction_permissions " , and in each row putting in the same unit ID , but giving it to these different factions in each row, would that cause a conflict / CTD ?
Can one particular unit only have ONE entry in " units_to_exclusive_faction_permissions " ? Like the title says , does PFM take the word " exclusive" that literally ?
Another question, I'm not sure this is relevant, but the unit is a Hellenic unit ( specifically in this mod recruitable only from Athens ) so , naturally, recruited from Hellenic cities / Hellenic barracks.
Three factions I want to give the unit to are Carthage, Colchis, and Selucia.
In the game encyclopedia, these are all Hellenic cultures , the descriptions of their barracks / military recruitment buildings are in the Hellenic category.
But I'm not sure what is true in the encyclopedia is true in the actual programing ?
If I give this unit to Carthage, for example, in " units_to_exclusive_faction_permissions " would that cause CTD , or would Carthage simply not be able to recruit it ?
