    can i ask what i am doing wrong. in my syracuse one turn campaign i have all sikelia ,few army but i still loose money
    2 why syracuse hoplites have no armor (in their model)

    Well you can spend more and have more upkeep than you have income. My advice is that you displace some troops and build up some more economic buildings to get a steady supply of income.

    Hoplites of Syracuse are unarmored, that's all there is to say about it.

    That faction doesn't have anything between the unarmored guys and the Syracuse Royal Hoplites. Similarly for the AoR in that settlement.
