    Default [Submod] Alternative religious system

    I'm proud to present you a new (sub)mod:

    Description:
    Do you also hate it when you never get 100% of your religion just because there are these stupid local traditions, which is very unrealistical? Then this mod is a good alternative for you. With this mod, the old religions still exist for a long time, because the conversion has been slowed down dramatically but there is a slow assimilation, so with enough temples and other bonuses you can totally convert the province to your religion. It just needs a bit of time.

    What this mod does:
    - all local traditions removed
    - Slowed down religious conversion by 80%

    Commander, I imagine this is your doing? Is it save game compatible?

    Yes, it is my doing.
    It is save game compatible, so enjoy . And I hope to get feedback, especially from the DeI-authors.

    Jokes aside. Might try it out tomorrow Though Ive never seen what you describe as a problem with the game.

    No it is just easier for me to keep track as I wont need to also unsubscribe when removing it. Due to testing of version 1.1 and DeI in general, I like to keep my data folder nice and clean to avoid any conflicts or complications

    I love the idea of slowing down cultural conversion, this should take years, but I think the PO malus of having a foreign culture, unless in oneŽs core region/province, should be reduced significantly.
    Not being able to recruit oneŽs core units is enough.

    If I were able, IŽd actually introduce cultural conversion from converting a settlement into oneŽs own type, which should also take way longer than it takes now.
    Temples IŽd change in a way that a temple of the original owners gives PO boni until your own culture became dominant, but affects cultural conversion negatively.
    The exact opposite should happen with temples of your own culture. PO boni/mali should reverse after your own culture became predominant.

    Is this in any way acchievable?
    What do you guys think of the idea?

    Yes, I could try to balance this. The negative PO lasts for a long time. But what about an "tolerance edict" that reduces or removes PO malus in this province?

    It is a good idea, but I don't see a way to do this. Sorry, but I can only try to create this edict or reduce the malus in general.

    Yes, it should be compatible with 1.1 (steam version is defintitely working). If you have any problems, just leave a comment here or on steam and I will fix it.
