Population Growth out of control
Hey there guys, i'm really enjoying SS 6.4 and i'm doing a campaign with the northmen of sicily but i noticed that the AI is incredibly (too much i'd say) fast to upgrade its settlements. Currently I barely reached the turn 30 and almost all the IA factions have advanced cities and castles (i mean fortresses and a lot of cities or huge cieties) while i'm still playing with wooden castles and large towns. That's a problem because my enemies can use troops a lot stronger then mine, and, going further with my campaign, it's imposible to sustain this situation. As submods activated,if this information is useful, i'm using BYG's GRIM IV E., 2TPY, Re Emergent factions, Longer Assimilation, Weak Heretics and Next Heir. Is there a way (submods, modification or whetever) to fix or improve this situation? Thank you

What's the difficulty level? I've been playing on VH/VH for a few years and I've never seen this

VH/VH difficult, i started a new campaign with english kingdom, same submods but this time with 1TPY, i tried to modify the EDU values but it was quite useless, it seems as if Ia was affected by a certain demographic frenzy; moreover, i spied some settlements for a couple of turns and i noticed that they keep expanding even if the growing rate is negative, lol.

Re: Population Growth out of control
I've actually had the same problem in pretty much all of my campaigns, both early and late- I always play on VH/VH, 2 turns per year, next heir and weaker heretics and the AI are bringing Feudal knights and with silver chevrons and armor upgrades while I JUST able to upgrade to a castle, lol.
Is this just a result of the tons of bonuses and cheats the AI get on VH/VH? Would H/VH offer a more realistic growth/expansion rate?

Yeah I have that problem too. The AI gets way too much bonuses. Lowering the difficulty doesn't really negate the problem, you'll still see these things happening.
