Game crashing when manually fighting battle in Osgiliath

I am using windows 8, and since baron samedi mod compilation doesn't work with 3.2 I am using 3.0. Every time I choose to manually fight battles in either E./W. Osgiliath the game will crash saying an unspecified error has occurred. Are there any fixes for this or is this just something that will always happen?

try to delete the descr geograpy db and txt in the data folder of your third age 3 map

Baron`s submod is meant to be played with TATW 3.1, not 3.0 nor 3.2.

Since Baron hasn˙t been active for a long time now, I would suggest you try some other submod, which has an active support, and is constantly updated.

Then is there a place where I can download patch 3.1 or a mod that takes invasions and stack spam?
