Scripted Rebels
Figured I'd throw my desire out to the community. I think the RS script could be well used to simulate rebellions and unrest in larger nations. Namely, Rome.
Rebellions in Gaul, Spain, Pannonia, Africa, and other regions were all major landmarks of Roman history. Why don't we create another set of random chance scripys that rip these regions in part or in whole, away from them, giving them either to the Roman Rebels or a formerly destroyed nation (preserved the same way the Roman Rebels are on Götland.)
Would like to hear your thoughts.

Re: Scripted Rebels
I'm pretty sure this is already discussed in the 'ideas for RS2's future' thread somewhere. I think dvk stated that the 2nd rebellion is too severe and that maybe a loyalty based mechanism could be put in place that would result in more but less severe rebellions throughout the game.
I think it would be a much better and more interesting feature. I hate the second rebellion. I think currently the rebelling states are far too spread out and I plain and simply don't like losing 70 settlements that might have taken me 200 turns in the first place to conquer. I hate keeping spain and greece while africa, italy, gaul and egypt rebel, it just seems illogical. It'd be great if there were a a big rebellion in just greece or gaul etc. And if legions rebelled with them rather than new ones being spawned imo.

I always thought the second rebellion was just right. It's essentially a restart to your game, but more fun imo.
As for scripts, there will probably be more stuff like that in the future. Like the Cimbri event for example.
