    Default Morning Sun Version 4.0

    Recently I've been working with ParkSteve and bigwavek to make the Korean faction more accurate; including an updated unit roster and some changes to the building trees. As this update is nearly finished attached are a few images of the new Korean units.

    There will also be some changes to some of the Jurchen, Ming, Mongol, Tibetan, and Tusi units.

    Wow its nice to see this mod still being worked on all this time! Great work man and thanks for all the effort put into this mod. Seeing the update on the models is there any plans down the road to remodel any of the navel units as well?

    My god, after all these years. How could I slept on this for far too long. Incredible - I have been procrastinating too much, someone has done custom models_naval using chaosrobie's script. Seems I have to get back to naval modding again, if not necessarily S2. There is much I have to learn, and relearn.

    Watching Panokseon blowing up Sekibune in S2 is the stuff of my dreams; and now, a reality. Magnificent job. And now you guys have real Hwacha shooting Singijeon with the correct animation, and legit Chongtong on top of the ships.

    After watching some of the vids, I'm impressed. Multiple shot type (grape included) daejanggunjeon as explosive shot, with fully modelled projectile.

    Some questions/suggestions:

    - How about adding more EFline action 4 and 10 so more archer marines will stand on the decks shooting arrows. I only see gun crews on top of the Panokseon, and the melee seamen hiding inside.
    - Is it just me, or I see fewer Japanese ships listing after getting pummeled by cannon shot? compared to your older videos. Are the flood_threshold_to_sink values changed? I find 0.5 to be ideal
    - Replace FoTS' ability icons with custom-made icons, or at least swap the munition type icons with ETW's. Ogival-conical shell icons is too modern, use round shot icons.
    - Is it just me, or the Chongtong feels so inaccurate? I don't know if it is by design that Morning Sun's projectiles are deliberately made inaccurate compared to vanilla by increasing its spread value high or having a large calibration area, or you guys forgot to add at least 5 core marksmanship value?
    - Make Admiral's Panokseon and Geobukseon able to be controlled in 3rd person view.

    I hearf Tekkousen will be added? how would the Tekkousen look like? New custom rigidmodels and models_naval, or simply retextured rigidmodels of an existing S2 ship? But the cannons must be rather small.

    We'll look into those suggestions but as I'm not making the ship models I don't know if those changes will be possible.

    Will there be various turtle ships, such as the turtle ship that spews sulfur smokescreen, a turtle ship with a lower hull and battering ram like in Hansan: the Rising Dragon, and a turtle ship with an archer's platform in the middle, just like in history?

    Probably not, first I don't think it's possible to add sulfur smokescreen due to technical reasons. Although whether the turtle ships actually used such a weapon is historically debated.
    As for the other turtle ship variations, I'm sorry but I don't really think it's worth the effort to make different turtle ship models when the differences are not that great. Especially considering making and adding the ship models to Shogun takes a lot of effort.

    I see. Now is it possible to arm the panokseons with mortars and hwachas just like in history, like Napoleon TW's bomb ketches and rocket ships?

    Do you have any plan for re-make the map with new map editor tools?
    I see a Western - India map mod with 225 regions on moddb. The new map-editor tool seem good with mountain and forest,... now visible in map.
    I think this will great if Morning Sun map could be re-make like that ^^

    My OWO map was created with more less the same tools like Morning Sun map. It's just more polished.

    Does the current 3.3 have the updated units for korea?
