Why Korea and China have declared war on me during realm divide?
Why Korea and China have declared war on me during realm divide?
Did realm divide occur after you conquered 19 regions?

Modding is like accursed wine, you try a sip and you ended empty the whole glass

I suspect other factions declared war on you simply because your reputation became very low after conquering Kyoto (I think real divide is hard coded for this region). In beta testing after a few turns all factions declared war on China simply because it started with so many regions, which caused an instant realm divide.

Given that you found the archers can indeed hit on the low setting, any chance you'll be changing the trajectories back for any upcoming updates? It sorta ruins it when hundreds of Mongols ride up, stop, and shoot straight into the air. Aside from that, this mod is pretty fantastic.
You can remove the old region of Kyoto and create in its place a new region Kyoto?
Amazing that the release 2.0 is here! Great work, i especially love the new Jurchens and Mongols they bring so much to the mod. Although there are still some minor issues (bow strings, fire arm sounds etc) I still have to say that this mod here is so far the most ambitious mod ever made for Shogun II. However I always wonder why the mod map has to be so... massive since a smaller china and korea would have been easily as astonishing while probably it would have been more easy to work with to a far more progressed level in considering the completion of the mod. Nevertheless its an amazing achievement, good job!
i don't see any screen shot in first post , are they all dead ?
Do you have plan to add new battle map for Korean, Ming castle?
Please, i have a problem. I downloaded all 3 parts for MS 2.0 and correctly switched them on in Mod Manager, then i started SH2 and nothing happens.
I get normal campaign start screen (checked standard one, Fots and Rots) with only standard factions (but in the upper right corner of menu i get "modded" in the brackets) .
What can i do? No other mods are active, nor any earlier problems with a game itself. Should i clear any files or something???? (I had almost all DLC , including expansions)
Please help me.
Do you plan on putting this on the Steam Workshop?
UPDATE: I've updated the ming.7z and ming_units.7z files in order to fix some issues.
- The Korean ships no longer cause the mod to crash.
- The Ming ports now work.
- The Korean brigandine units have had their textures remade.
- The Mongol/Jurchen/Tibet/Tusi unit cards have been updated.
- Faction heirs have the correct portraits.
- Korean now has generals with the correct names.
- The range of some units has been increased.
I am still working on the arrows. I have tried getting changing which units have access to flaming arrows in custom battles but Shogun 2 keeps ignoring these changes. Even when I replace the vanilla units with new units this doesn't change which abilities these units have access to. This occurs for both custom battles and campaign mode.
Regarding the low/high trajectory I'm still testing the difference in kills. So far the results show the difference is minor.
Only if someone else makes them as I don't know how to make battle maps.
I would recommend using steam to verify your files. If this doesn't fix the problem use the Pack File Manager to turn these files from mod to movie packs.
Only once I fix the major bugs.

Thank You very much, using PFM manager helped! It all works as intended with Your latest files!
Im so glad to be back in this best mod for TW again. !!!!
Thank You Sir!
What units did you test? It may be similar for stationary targets, IE, shooting siege defenders. But I found that a stack of spear men moving towards vertically firing horse archers takes very few casualties, making the Mongols key units nigh useless. With huge unit sizes and 7 units of archers, after about 4 volleys they had killed 30 or so men.
I tested a modified version of the Korean monk (it's range was reduced) and the Japanese monk behind some spearmen against a group of spearmen. They usually managed to get 40-50 kills regardless of whether the trajectory was high or low, though on some occasions it would be split 70 for one and 3 for the other. Though I haven't tested the cavalry yet.
