This is astonishing! Speachlesssssssss!!!!!!!!
when can i download it?
You can't, there is no Attila released version yet. This mod is still mid-development. You can however download an extremely early version of the mod for Rome II as discussed in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-qaldTWvs5Y (the link to the download page is in the description).
So I figured I'd post this here, after much discussion we think we finally have a definitive list of what factions will be playable in MK:
- Kingdom of England
- Kingdom of Scotland
- Kingdom of Gwynedd
- Kingdom of Ireland
- Kingdom of France
- Duchy of Burgundy
- County of Toulouse
- Crown of Aragon
- Kingdom of Castile
- Kingdom of Navarre
- Kingdom of Portugal
- County of Flanders
- Duchy of Brabant
- Kingdom of Denmark
- Kingdom of Sweden
- Kingdom of Norway
- Holy Roman Empire
- Schwyz
- Kingdom of Bohemia
- Duchy of Lombardy
- Republic of Genoa
- Republic of Pisa
- Kingdom of Sicily
- Papacy
- Republic of Venice
- Despotate of Epirus
- Latin Empire
- Empire of Nicaea
- Empire of Trebizond
- Kingdom of Hungary
- Grand Principality of Serbia
- Second Bulgarian Tsardom
- Lesser Poland
- Duchy of Silesia
- Teutonic Order
- Grand Duchy of Lithuania
- Kievan Rus
- Chernigov
- Volga Bulgars
- Cuman Khanate
- Khwarezmian Empire
- Mongol Hordes
- Kingdom of Georgia
- Cilician Armenia
- Seljuks of Rum
- Zengid Dynasty
- Abbasid Caliphate
- Crusader States
- Ayyubid Sultanate
- Kingdom of Makuria
- Zagwe Dynasty
- Almohad Caliphate
I think this is a fair representation of everyone. Most areas get at least two factions. Also I should note that some of unplayable vassals will have their units as part of their master's roster in custom battle. Like the Earldom units will be playable by England or Bavaria by HRE. I hope you guys like our selection.![]()
I believe they are an emergent faction, maybe you can transform into them as the rum under the right conditions.
when can i download it? maybe on this february?
the Ottomans where there at 1212 but they weren't independent till 14thC and they located near Ahlat (Akh'latt) in eastern front of rum seljuks back then. after Sultan Ala'Eu Ad'Din of Rum seljuks defeated khawarizm shah in Yassi Jemn, he rewarded Erutghul (Osman ghazi father)with Iqta to the west for his deeds in the battle and Erutghul was able to take Sugat village in about 1231. most of the smaller Atabegs (or beyliks) were part of main sultanate they come from. the story that Ottoams came from central asia is weak because Erutghul was born near Ahlat also he was part of Kayqubath army in Yassi Jemen battle
So as they were not independent, there is no reason to have them in the game. Because if you add Ottomans you are gonna have to add all Anatolian Beyliks that gained independence from the fall of Sultanate of Roman Lands(Rum). I prefer seeing the Beyliks that were independent in Eastern Anatolia at the time...
The Ottomans didn't really exist - Ertugrul was just the leader of a Turkish tribe, no different than hundreds of others. The Ottomans only emerged as a result of the actions of Osman, around 70 years after the start of this mod, and didn't become independent until 1299.
Shoehorning the Ottomans into the starting set up of the mod would be like shoehorning the Timurids in on the basis that they descended from the Mongols and thus their ancestors would be alive at the starting date of the mod.
Timurids did have some Mongols amongst them but they didn't really descent from Mongols. Timur saw Genghis Khan as an idol but that is very much like Sultanate of Rum considering itself as the new Roman Empire. That is why Sultanate of Rum had a Roman Eagle on their banner. Timur was Uzbek and had both Turkic and Mongolic people under him. And about Ertuğrul you are right. He was the chief of the Qayi(kayı) tribe of the Oghuz branch; and a Bannerlord to the Seljuk Sultanate of Rum...![]()
