    Default consequences of the AOR

Since the beginning of your project, i've been frustrated : as player who just want play as Roman (i know, it's a disease, i barelly admit that i only play as WRE ! ), i need two things i feel mandatory for that timeframe :
real unit names (and shield pattern) and AOR.
i know when you started FOTE an AOR wasn't available, but now it is, are you considering a revamp of your roman units, given them proper names (and not generic ones or mix of ral ones!) and area to be recruited ?
    thank you

Don't know if you've played in the last months, but all the roman units have already been reworked with new skins, stats and authentic names. So I'm not sure if you're saying that you're missing that or not. Either way it's already in. And yes, we will be working on an AOR later down the road, I can confirm that much. Don't really have any details on it besides that though.

Yes, off course i know you worked on Roman units, and i do love historical accuracy and diversity among soldiers of the same unit. but i'm not fan of generical roman units when with the notitia we know precisly where every unit was located, with name, shield pattern and operationnal speciality... like every other late roman mod, you do lose a lot of gameplay and immersion without it. Especially when you keeped real unit (cornutii), mixed (???) others (Herculiniani and Ioviani, both iuniores and seniores) and added generic.
An AOR give you the possibility to be more history-compliant, add a lot of gameplay (few special units recruited in one location are more precious than random ones available everywhere !), at least for players like who prefer to play as Roman factions.

    cheers

Ah, so you mean like regional recruitment for specific legions like for example the DeI submod? We haven't discussed doing that specifically so I can't really say where we stand on it. If we do end up doing it it probably wont be for a while.

ok, thank you for your answer.
Keep up with the good work, and i hope you will find some time to consider it in the future as a mandatory feature
