    Default Roads and Resources

    Roads:
    I saw a preview video about the mod where roads were mentioned. I hope, there will be roads for the civilized nations, such as Hellenic, Roman etc from the 1st turn. It will not make sense not to have a road from Athens to Sparta in 207 BC, but it will make sense not to have a road in the Gaul or Germania. What I am trying to say is that civilized nations' cities should have roads from level 1 , while the barbarians might not.
    Moreover, the roads should not be destructible. Except if you raze a settlement (maybe).

    Resources: We hope to see the resources working as in Rome 2 patch 17. And lets hope the resources will make more sense and the buffs will not be OP or totally useless ;p

    Resources will be fully functioning, though until we start adding in our own building chains then it probably won't be all that much more important than it is in vanilla.

    On roads all factions can create them, though barbarian 'roads'/tracks will have different uses (such as secret paths that allow greater guerrilla attacks and ambushes for the defenders. Roads will be a building option, so unfortunately I'm not sure there is all that much we can do about them being destroyed.
