    So far the mod has been unplayable for me because every battle seems to crash not long after the units start to fight eachother, but not immediately either. After testing it out a few times and observing it further I managed to pinpoint the javelin throwing units as the source of the problem, as the game only crashed when they attempted to attack and began their animation. Looking through the threads here I saw a few others had this exact problem. I should point out that I have cleanly installed EB 2.01 as well as uninstalling and reinstalling medieval ii and EB 2.01 numerous times. Additionally I have not installed 2.01 over 2.0, but rather as instructed have installed only 2.01. Any thoughts on possible solutions?

    Could you try installing patch 2.04? That's the latest patch.

    I just installed 2.04 and got the same ctd. I did notice that I observed a few dedicated javelin units functioning fine, but the game crashed when a unit of legionnaires attempted to throw their pilums.

    Are you using Steam? Where is your game installed?

    If you're playing 2.04, did you run 2.01 first?

    Critically, what does your error log say? Without the reading from there, no one is going to be able to pinpoint the problem.
