Hi, I've been trying to unlock the Nobatia (and at the same time make them a client state rather than a vassal) and the afrighids with varying amounts of "success." I followed each of the tutorials many times over in the other sub-forum (except for the family tree one, because I never got that far). I've been able to unlock the factions, but when I play them I obviously lack politics, a family tree, and many other features that I'd like to add in. However, when I try to add in politics, I get a crash to desktop very early in the loading phase. There must be something I'm missing, but I've been over and over it again, any help is appreciated.

Additionally, I haven't been successful in unlocking the factions with the assembly kit, I've only managed to do it with a combination of ESF and Pack editing. Is it possible to do it all on the assembly kit? Linked are a couple different attempt .packs.
