Should i play this or EB1?

Helloooo forums! I was wondering if you could give me ur opinions on a dilemma i'm having. I've been playing EB1 for a couple years now and i waited till the release of EB2 to give it a shot. Yet i can't seem to decide which one I want to stick with. I love EB1 and EB2, the work the team has done is nothing short of unbelievable.

I'd love to hear your opinions on which one i should stick with.

Depends on what faction you want to play, imo. The Hellenistic factions in EB2 are pretty well-developed, roster-wise, but if you want to play a faction like Hayasdan or Saka then I'd probably stick with EB1 for now. Obviously, if you wanted to play a new faction like Pergamon or Numidia, then play EB 2

Overall, though, I think EB2 is a big improvement in a lot of ways, and a lot of fun. I can't wait to see how it develops!

Even with the test version at 2.03k, you won't have to deal with 2-3 full stack battles, each and every single turn, into perpetuity, that you had in EB1's later game.

I would go for EB2. Only downside is the lack of units for some factions and the fact that updates(which seem to come pretty often atm) are usually not save game compatible so you either have to start a new campaign of stick with older versions.

Alrighty then, it seems everyone unanimously agrees that EBII is better, so i'll stick to that

I'm gonna try a Pergamon campaign

The AI inteligence in both campaign and battle is pretty superior. Though as said the main downside is a lot of units lacking and features or some flaws. But the work done till now is really impressive.
