Default how do you kidnap princesses?

Says here in the txt. file that princesses can be kidnapped.
What do I use: an assassin or a spy?

    Thanks in advance.

Conquer Eastern capitals and big cities! There are also some in Egypt, Africa, Spain, Gaul, Sicily, Illyria. In Italy you may capture some noble women.

You need a family member to guide the assault, better if he has two, three or four command points, which are required for capturing the most famous queens.

Some princesses from later periods become available only after a certain number of turns, for example Cleopatra VII. You can guess the city you have to conquer for her. Some princesses are also available in certain forts.

Maybe I should post a list, but that will take some time. In any case they'll arrive when your campaign proceeds.

    Many thanks.

I'm having righteous fun with the Germans in Italy.
So far, no big cities captured, an assassin killed off my commander but the precedent has been set: a German army on the peninsula!

One more condition for capturing ancillaries is that your general has a free slot.
The maximum number is eight ancillaries for each family member.
If your leader has reached the max he can not achieve more.
But you can always transfer some of his ancillaries to a younger colleague.
Just drag and drop on the portrait.
