Default "Armenian" accent units with localized ME:TW II versions

I own the localized German version of ME:TW II and recently noticed that all units that have the "armenian" accent in the EDU speak... well... German.
This includes the unit's responses to commands as well as it's taunting and routing sounds. I suppose there is no real differnce concerning the charge sound since it seems to be some kind of universal battle cry. While being quite funny from time to time it actually tends to be a major annoyance when playing as Pontos or Hayasdan.

    So, my questions are:

    1. Are these "armenian" units supposed to be mute or do they use the orignial English soundfiles?

    2. Is it possible to mute them without stripping them of their routing/charging sounds? I don't want them to charge the enemy in utter silence but my recently started Pontos campagin feels rather... strange.

    Thanks!

It's a bug, I think. In my installation on the english version of M2TW, they use Middle Eastern voices ("My Sultan, the winds of fate have turned against us!" and so on) but nobody else seemed to have that problem, or if they did, they didn't mention it. Glad to see it's not just me.

Try deleting the 8 .idx and.dat files in the eb2/data/sounds folder, the game will regenerate them when you start again, make back ups though in case something goes wrong.

Thanks, I deleted the Files you mentioned but that didn't change anything. Still hearing the eastern faction sounds in German. I've also noticed that there are no armenian soundfiles in the voice folder, only Greek, Barbarian,Punic, Latin and Sanskrit.
