yes many Reconquista mods have been done but I think I have a"fresh" take~
no Gunpowder it starts early about 800 A.D. ends 1200 A.D. (four turns per year)

all new everything! (unit cards, buildings. ui. battlefield skins, etc.)

Cool! the texture of the map is very realistic

here is a little ui (graphics/menus), some of the new unit cards and the Monastery
Also some changes are: of course no gunpowder units (there will be all siege though) Islamic factions can only upgrade to minor city
the catholics can fully upgrade to huge city but at each upgrade they have to build "expanded housing" for their population to upgrade
also no guilds so that means no knightly orders either (Templers/ Knights of Santiago) and just like how the Muslims can build a racing track
and hold races the catholics can build a "Bull fighting arena" and have yearly, monthly weekly or daily fights~

The topography of your map looks very... interesting.

If you are desperate for testers I might be able to help, but you may be better off if you can find anybody with less time constraints. I don't even have time to work on my own mod at the moment.

Anyway, this is a great time period for a mod! I wish you good luck with it!

I could release it right now, it is very playable just really need to update some text, finish banners and ui cards/some battlefield skins but the map itself is done( I also changed the title graphics)
