no big deal...

one is a middle ages themed game, the other one is a game on ancient greece (and actually classical age greece, not hellenistic age) => two different games to play

and the graphics engine thingy doesn't bother me either

sure mtw2 has some awesome eye-candy, but - for example - I consider Caius' work with the Crusades mod to be almost on par (at times even better) with the mtw2 vanilla skins... Heg's skins are certainly of the same outstanding quality (and referring to a completely different setting

i totally agree on that note, the crusades is an awesome mod, they got the music just perfect for the mood, modded a bunch of little things around to create the best playable mod yet, and its super difficult with how agressive the AI is in campaign.

so far MTW2 has been below par, and Heg does look to be my answer to actually having a "realistic" greek city state war game.

i agree no big deal, ancient greece will always come first before M2TW for me....unless its a Rome 2...thats different....until this mod comes out - its SPQR for me.

I quite agree. In fact, I've found that a lot of Chivalry's units have been rather better than M2TW's units. I'll certainly play Hegemonia when it comes out.

not to sound rude but we dont exactly have the resources of the Creative Assemberly.

We are arent paid for this we dont have an entire office of computer programmers and artists and above all we are not charging you for it!

I think people wouldn't be bugging you that much if you were more open about the mod's progress. I mean if you said every now and then for ex: we've done 60% of this, 90% of that, we have those types of problems and we'll see how it goes etc.etc. Or something similar. Then people wouldn't be able to complain about release because they would have a rough idea of whats going on. I know I am curious about that.

In theory yes that sounds right unfortunatly it didnt work that way we used to have a progress thread it was soon hijacked by this question being repeated every other day.

Can't people just be patient, who cares if a mod comes out for M2TW before this comes out! The longer this mod takes, the better it will be. If we rush them then they might give up or they might release it unfinished and then you guys will complain some more!
