About Sassanid Peshmerga i have some questions:
First i want to know any evidences of their existence and second i want to know why all of them hold only clubs while they looks like an elite corps why not a more deadly weapon like maces or long swords?!

On masks, we have a few early iconographical sources that hint at them. Firstly is a shell from the Persian gulf showing a lancer, secondly is a graffito from Dura showing an armoured archer. In both instances we see a large joined gap at the eyes, suggesting a face plate either like a Japanese menpo or like the large Macedonian cheek plates. After this there is no more iconography hinting at a face mask in Iran although there is one seal from 6th Century Khotan.
On the rest of the units, I find them much more suitable in the 5th - 7th Centuries rather than 3rd - 4th Centuries. This is only natural as the bulk of excavated items are from the late period. For the early period it is more important to use rock reliefs. The Ospreys are not credible (Farrokh himself has admitted that he was very unhappy with the artwork in his Osprey) and Radpour uses too many anachronisms and is unable to provide any references for his kit when asked. I would stick with the primaries, the 3rd and 4th C is not the easiest period to reconstruct.
also, wtf is up with some if the conspiracy theorising, complete inability to provide evidence, and general douchebaggery that seems to surface on all of the Sasanian threads???

The Sasanian Peshmerga didn't exist, and no Sasanian warrior ever dressed like that.
