Second turn in a row Gardener keeps one unit in a fort south of Lannisport. Last turn it was one unit of archers that where forced to retreat there since they siege our fort and this turn it is a different unit of knights.. kind of a low move, your guys reek of desperation..
also potential siege to deny retreat bug at Old Oak, would admin mind taking a look at this?
"Får jag kalla dig Bajen? Det är lättare att komma ihåg..."
Old Oak was sieged with one unit, this denied the retreat of the defeated Crakehall army. The army would have retreated in the castle if not for that unit. It is not allowed to deny the retreat of armies like this. We have had a discussion in the tavern about this, and everybody pretty much agreed it should not be allowed in official hotseats. Hotseats don't get much more official than this, so I say it is not allowed.
Lannister may attack the besieging unit and move his defeated army in the castle. It may not move any further
As for the fort, it must be emptied (or fully garrisoned) next Gardener turn and I will give Gardener a financial penalty.
Also gardener, don't forget to disband those units in Cider Hall, they spawned when you got your settlement back from Yron.

Wait a moment. Please help me understand this. We are clearly being punished. Why? How?
Old Oak has 1 unit inside. I besieged with 1 unit.
Is this not allowed?
When Sumner Crakehall is defeated, he retreats toward Old Oak, but may not enter because of the legal siege. I made no further attempt to attack Crakehall.
Why is this not legal?
You are allowing Lannister to move defeated units into Old Oak, subsequently saving them from further attack. Then you penalize us because our cavalry unit retreating to an empty fort 2 (TWO) regions away. Really?
Obviously, I would not keep less than 4 units inside a fort at the end of my turn, but there is nothing I can do about where he retreats. Also, all units at Cider Hall will be disbanded, save 1, as the rule stats.
If, for whatever absurd reason, the moves made are illegal, I request a replay. Stormking and Arryn have apparently given up, so it doesn't make a difference for any teams involved in this hotseat.
Korpskog is defaming our cause with his griping. You are giving him what he is looking for. Ridiculous! By doing so, you may as well name them the winners and save us all the trouble.
Lets get this moving again!
Stormlander king slained!
Runestone ( no garisson), Rosby and Uplands taken. Defeated arynn ship and lord Coldwater with lord Sunderland. PICS
Gardener up! http://www.mediafire.com/download/t4...Gardener_9.sav
You deliberately besieged Old Oak so that army would not retreat inside it. You besieged it with 1 unit of cavalry that could never hope to take it. Because of that, the defeated army is now standing outside the castle, while it should have moved in. This allows you to attack the defeated army again. In a way, you denied its retreat.
These decisions are always tricky, as I have to use the bug rules and not denying retreat consensus to make a decision. Therefore I understand your grievance.
Understand that I am impartial and make these judgements on a case to case basis. In this case I ruled against you, for the reasons stated above.
If you had besieged it with a force capable of taking the castle, the ruling might have been different.
As for the fort, I was under the impression you moved a cavalry unit in it. My mistake, there will be no penalty there.
I don't see how much of a difference a replay would make, you can still siege and take the castle. I'd rather avoid replays as much as possible, which is why I made this ruling. If you can provide me with sufficient reasons in a pm for a replay I might reconsider.
For now, carry on.
Lannister broke the fort rule. He has 3 forts in sliverhill region
Lol, i have to be blind. Ill send new save asap
I guess i deserve to be fined as its for the second time
new save http://www.mediafire.com/download/xb...rdener_9re.sav
About the fort with one unit it was my mistake, I checked the turn sloppy and it was indeed one unit that retreats there, however the turn before one unit was used to block the passage.. about the siege, to begin with the one unit that sieged to deny retreat was a cavalry unit.. thus could not even use siege equipment..
Lets move on
Edit*
I missed that you just basicly called me a liar Snow.. thank the gods we have neutral people who judges these events.. last year I was a good sport when you and Ice knocked out me and EoH with a very even judge-decision.. I suggest you return the favor and take this for that it is.. a game.
