No problem! Don't take it as an absolute answer, though, as Tolkien's genetics are a bit muddled (and they didn't even know much about genetics back then - also Tolkien was not terribly concerned about it). I may need to do some more research some time or another.
There was no mention of his height. I thought if his lifespan kept same long why his height should have changed

    Ah, ok. Seems pretty reasonable.

That's really weird, do you think it could be resolved or no? It also seems like avatars, reputation, and visitor messages are affected.

The complete forum rolled back. That means that everything (threads, posts, PMs, visitor messages, reputation, avatars etc.) from the 25th December to now is lost.

I doubt that this will get fixed but I can't believe that this time frame (probably the most important one for our project right now) just disappeared into nothingness.

Hehe, there's always plans to expand, but I haven't been in the Tolkien mood lately what with tons of school and all (trying to get a scholarship ).

Due to my love to the dunedain we will consider more pure dunedain as pure dunedain and less pure as just men.
Which will be pure: Dunedain of Dol Amroth, Ithilien Rangers, Rangers of the North some glorious families.
You know in old times it's been important to keep the blood pure and when some ppl are mixing blood there appear some kind of 'resistance'. We can see this in Gondor's Civil War of Third Age. Even after it I bet some dunedain who supports only pure blood are still left. Mainly such kind of ppl based on rich houses and aristocracy.

I understand what are you saying(as long as my love for the Dunedain) but talking about the TA we have that the dunedain of both Arnor and Gondor are derived from the 13 nameless lord of Andunie, descendant of Valandil son of Silmarien daughter of Tar-Elendil son of Tar-Amandil, Vardamir son or Elros Tar Minyatur so the blood(as long as we do not really know about the 13 namelss lord) would not look so Pure as it was at the beginning(like for Valandil).

For Dol Amroth we know that Imrahil is son to Adrahil 2 and from the beginning(Adrahil 1 the first "Prince od Dol Amroth") there are some known man/woman(Imrazor, Galador) and some(like 15/17) prince of dol amroth that are still un named.

So I do think that this would be better if applied to some particular man(as I supported before for the "royal" man like Imrahil/Adrahil/Denethor and so on) than for entire units.

For example the Royal Guard(and bodyguard) could be made in this way, but for the Rangers of Ithilien(e.g.) there are no evidence things supporting that everyone of them is pure as they were the Son of Elendil or the royal line of Arthedain. that's well known to be the purest whereas both Rhudaur, that really "impured" itself as soon as possible(ahah), and even Cardolan "stained" their blood after the death or Earendur

(all in my humble or ing opinion )
