How/can do we decrease the damage or fire rate of towers? I've tried changing the damage and reload rate in the projectile tables but it doesn't seem to work.

dunno if this can still help you, but I just fell across this marvel of a guide. I was having the same problems, it just took a sort of magical combination of key words punched into google for it to show upsection 2 is what you're looking for.
