    Default {DIK} >>> Download - Patch 4.1 <<<

    Dear fellows,
we are very proud to present to you our newest version of the Italian Wars, Patch 4.1!
This Patch fixes most of the know bugs, but that's not all, we also rebalanced the unit settings. For example recruitment or up keep costs, as well as, armour and damage settings. Besides this balancing issues, we also reworked parts of the map. For example the city of Mantua is now surrounded by rivers and protected by forts, to represent the three lakes next to the city or there is now a land bridge from the island of Venice towards the mainland. For the exact list, check the changelog included in the download file.
    So have fun!

Good stuff! I will give it a try as soon as this brutal heat is gone Damn, I accidentally installed it into the game folder and not the mod folder. After installing it in the latter, too, nothing works anymore Funnily enough, before that, 4.0 would still run.

Thanks, I did forget that. Before I couldn't start a campaign (sent me back to the main menu), not it crashes if I try to launch a campaign. I should probably reinstall it fully...

I finally got it working after all this while Cheers!

One question, I can see square signs before each unit name, are they intended or how can I remove them?

Ned, it's just this: ꙁ, like ꙁVenetian Infantry, where it shows their name, as if it could not display a letter from a foreign alphabet.

Just extract them and then copy the files (export_units.txt, export_units.string.txt) inside your italian_wars\data\text folder.
    Overwrite the previous ones.

    Always a pleasure

Mmh, it's still there in front of every description. But after 2 turns I already got used to it, so don't worry

    Grr.. bad.
    Alright, a test

I have attached you a new unit description file, in which I have made some changes.
So please look for following units: Venetian Heavy Infantry and Venetian Navy Archers.
Do you still have this "bug"?

The two units you mentioned have a blank space instead of the symbol in front of their names now. All other units are fine now Thank you again, I owe you 3 rep points now

Something else, the guy in Ancona is simply called ''Cardinal'' when I look at the settlement
