Are you playing via steam or disc, and are you playing the latest updated version?
There may be some compatibility issues between the game and mod, like maybe the mod requires a more updated version.
Also, maybe more importantly, what mod is it?
Heart of silver, Mind of gold
Fist of iron and Tongue to scold
Proud to be a Viking!
Is various mods and i play disc and i play the latest updated version(i think) but i play other saves in the same mod and it works. I change the script of the game: timescale and old age. i dont know why i have that problems. i play a mod and i save it and i do it again and again (alog the days) and at some point when i load the savefile, the error appears!but in the vannila the error dont appear
A man suggests you "reinstall" all submods, it might be because you were changing things that are not save-game compatible.
i some times get that the very very odd time after i play for a while or a tab out and play another game i recommend above![]()
i chage that scripts before I play a new campaign
Hi,
i have the same problems like Dragnoov and wanted to ask if someone found a solution. And is it possible to save "infected" save files? A fast answer would be good![]()
So, if i save while there is a yes\no event open the game will crash? o:
And this save game will be irreparable?
In my case the game crashs, after i finished my round and then a enemy army attacked one of my cities. I clicked that i want to play this match by myself and then the game crashs... and i can't load it again. Even the autosave.
Is my save game lost?
So you didn't get to the battle itself? Could mean a faulty battle unit.
Puzzling that you can't load the autosave - that is made at turn end before the AI round and should have worked.
I have gotten in the habit of making quick saves every now and then when testing mods - even if I don't use them. They come handy with nasty crashes like this.
