    Default Ultimate General: Gettysburg removed from Apple's appstore

    Greetings TWC, it's been a while since I posted anything. But I couldn't find this news on TWC and undoubtedly a modder/game creator such as Darth Vader who has given so much to the TWC modding community deserves some support from his fans here.

    Following the wake of the 'Confederate Flag controversy', even Ultimate General has been attacked. There is a statement from Game-Labs on their website; I will quote part of it here:

    'As you may have been already informed (Read Facebook link), Apple has removed our game from AppStore because of usage of the Confederate Flag. ... we are not going to amend the game's content ... We can’t change history, but we can change the future.'

    Game-Labs needs all the support it can get, for those of you that regularly buy Apple products, will this make you reconsider before your next purchase?

    This is pretty crappy on Apple's part.
    Things I trust more than American conservatives:

    Agreed, it's ludicrous to imagine that their game was removed because.. it accurately represents history? I hope that Apple allows the game to be put back up. This is not in any way fair to Game Labs.

    According to UG:G's Facebook account, it is now back on the Appstore with exactly 0 changes!
