Current quailty of the mod?

Comparing this mod to RS or EB1, is it worth playing and how good is it?

It is a very good mod and is always getting better, it has a very dedicated team that will keep it going for years to come. Plus there are a lot of good submods to add on as well.

Better not to compare mods, as that is insulting to everybody. Just get it and see for yourself.

Well all I think the author wants to know is : is it worth starting a campaign now ? I would say no as the mod is not finished yet ! It is so long for some of us (who don't have that much spare time to play), that starting a campaign on such a huge mod, would be very disapointing if it is not finished ! I couldn't start a Roman campaign before Marian units are available !

I would say yes, it is worth it. That is why the OP should try it out for himself/herself, as people will just have different opinions.

I would suggest checking it out yourself to see if the mod is for you and after wait for the summer release.
There we have tons of new content: new vegetation, new units, siege engines and so on.

As for it's completeness we have over 200(around 30 more in the summer release) units and tons of new content, so it's quite complete although some will say it's not just because we're missing Marian units.
