Intsallation Help!

Okay so I have purchased Medieval 2 in the past 4 hours, and everytime I insert the CD, the drive makes some noise for a good 10-15 seconds, then stops and nothing happens. I tried opening My Computer and explored D: Drive but the disk won't even read

. I tried inserting other games and they were read perfectly. I have all the system requirments.
Any suggestions?

try desktop install

copy both the cds on ur pc and then run install exe from ur pc.

I tried it.
Nothing will even show up in the D: Drive spot when I open My Computer. Its just..blank. I doubt its my drive though because I tried inserting the soundtrack in and it plays.

Is your drive a 8x DVD ROM drive?

Can you right click on My Computer, choose properties, hardware tab, device manager, then drop down the DVD/CD drives and post what the line below says.

Also, I just tried to insert the disk into another computer and it worked. So basicly my computer is not reading this certain disk for some reason, but it is reading other PC games I put in.
