    Does someone still speak Spanish in the Philippines?
    If so, what social conditions? What regions? Is Spanish spoken more than English, or less?

    Well, I haven't heard anyone speaking Spanish in the Philippines during my years living there, but then most of the tagalog words have Spanish influences or are burrowed Spanish words. Like "mesa" for table etc. So I say that people speak more English there than Spanish since English is their secondary language.

    Just through what I experienced.

    well in most places when you say a number in spansih like singko it means money like 5 pesos and the i've heard chavacano was it?
