From a child's view
Edwyn lost count of the days he was made prisioner. There wore hundreds, maybe thousands of prisioners to deliver punishment or pardon. There was no way of knowing what was going to happen to him.

Re: From a child's view
Lord Lucian Arryn entered through the Gate of the Gods into the newly surrendered city. He was exhausted from battle and his usual proud gate atop his horse had been reduced to a slumped walk towards the Red Keep. He had refused the care of a maester, sending the man instead to tend to the more seriously wounded. His own wound seemed to have stopped bleeding for the time being, and that was good enough for him. A simple wash in hot wine would see the wound cleaned and then healing would begin on its own.

Ooc:Considering it is still the day of the batle?
Ic:
in Ed's mind there was a confusion of feelings. Wile the lost battle, the uncertanty of hia father's destiny, and being lost from his lord made him feel bad, the awe that Daemon caused him made his spirit bloom in desire to serve the great warrior. His exprecion was a sharp hard mask over witch those feelings competed. Thru a child's eye, the result of the battle, was a revelation

ooc: yes indeed
ic:
Lucian was feeling ill. Maybe it was exhaustion from the battle, or something else. He would refuse to entertain the idea he was somehow mortally wounded. Yet still, he needed a short rest.
"You there, boy, fetch water." He commanded of Edwyn who was standing close at hand.

Re: From a child's view
it was hard to find his way amidst the after battle frenzy but watter was at hand since it was in hight demand to the tired and wounded. Grabing the first vase he found, Edwyn tended the request swiftly. Being a lordly child thou he forgot his courtesy just until the final drop was swalowed. Only tgen he would burst out a clumsy
Yes my lord as you please.
and bowed slitly as he would to Lord Michael.

Re: From a child's view
When the lad had returned Lucian quaffed down the repast he had brought. Gods, that is what I needed. But now some wine.
Lucian noticed the sword at the boy's side. "What's this? That bastard usurper would have mere lads fight for the defense of his capital?" Lucian gave a laugh that was shared by the direct knights around him, but Lord Arryn quickly descended into a fit of coughs brough on by the injury to his arm and ribs. "Seven hells!" he exclaimed."How old are you, boy?"

Re: From a child's view
Gods above Lucian thought to himself. "Ten years and looting the corpses of my sworn men, are you?" he looked severe for a moment, but his expression softened as he remembered the lad's age. "What is your name, boy?"

Re: From a child's view
I am Edwyin of Tarth and i want to be the greates warrior ever. I am not afraid of the dead.
the boy sensed de desaproval in Arryn's tone and againg felt he had to defend himself
I didn't kill any one of your side thou.
he thought that the desaproval could have something to do with the fact that he was fighting agains the blacks. He had absolutely no idea of the insignificance of his contribution to the battle. After a pause, in a lower tone, almost apologising he said
I wanted to... but not anymore.

Re: From a child's view
The year was throu. King's landing would never be home but time always works in making you get used. Ed was geting used to his prision, and people was geting used to him. He got into the serving crew and made few shalow aquaintances. No one seemed to care about him. He missed his family and his sword practice and his horse, but he knew humildity from his work to Baratheon. He was humbli serving the Iron king. He could hear tge roar's of the dragons some times. The idea of being so close to them made him feel like in a romance of yore, like a hero in creation.
