UPDATE 25/08/2016: Eastern building icons have now been added
I've started working on this little side-project of mine for vanilla Rome II with the goal of replacing every building icon with new icons in the style of Attila's. This will require quite a bit of time and effort, due to the sheer number of new icons required to replace the existing ones, but I'm up for it. The beta is now out, featuring the Roman and Barbarian building icons. I will be continually updating this with more building icons and adding them to this first post.
Each icon has some keys on them to give the player the ability to quickly glance at an icon and understand what it does (e.g. red food = negative food, green happiness = positive happiness, coin = wealth income etc). I will upload a list of the keys I've used for the icons once I've finished all of the icons.
As for the graphics for the new icons themselves; most will be altered and resized screenshots, taken by me, from Rome II (I'll post the screenshots to Rome II's pictures archive over time). I will be reusing a few graphics from Rome II and Attila (e.g. resource settlement branches). However, some of them I plan to be hand-painted, such as the Greek Level V buildings - they have no representation in either game. When I have painted a completely unique icon, I will make it known.
EDIT (25/08/2016)
Gonna take a break for a few weeks on this. When I come back, I will then go on to finish some of the Barbarian religious tree buildings that were left as they were and then start work on some of the pre-Emperor Edition building icons (e.g. Roman Nymphs, Roman Mercury etc). Once all of the icons are complete, I will re-do some of the building keys from the existing icons since I have worked out a good, consistent formula for them to use.
