Sure I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is Im not. I honestly feel that America is the best country and all other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.
I wouldn't be surprised since its children (Palestinian) that actually seen houses being bulldozed, orchards being uprooted and state funeral every week (for martyrs). But whether or not they've seen anything, its always easier to indoctrinate children, especially with wrong information.
Children wanting to be suicide bombers are so ridiculously hopeless. Who are the parents that sent them there?
I have yet to see whether the Qur'an tells people that Jews are apes and pigs.
Older guy on TWC.
Done with National Service. NOT patriotic. MORE realist. Just gimme cash.
Dishing out cheap shots since 2006.
its jordanian and palestinian school books, the tv recordings are from numerous muslim countries including 'western allies' like saudi arabia and a lot of them seem pretty well off for children that have "actually seen houses being bulldozed, orchards uprooted and state funerals every week"Originally Posted by sephodwyrm
Its also books teaching (indoctrinating) the children to hate.
Children arent born hating seph, they are trained to hate.
It may not exactly say that, but it does tell muslims that "christians and jews are not friends of islam" and basically condemns you for having any such friends.Originally Posted by sephodwyrm

What got me the most upset and angry was teh little girl at the end. I felt so sad for her. I just hope that these kids are taught what is really in the Qu'ran instead of those jackass parents of theirs say is in the Qu'ran.Originally Posted by JP226

Check out this site
Or this one
It quotes a fourth-grade text as telling students to "love for the sake of God and to hate for the sake of God." The report says that textbooks instruct students that Christians and Jews are "apes and pigs" and warns students not to "greet," "befriend" or "respect" non-believers.

I have nothing against the womens movement. Especially when Im walking behind it.
We've been seeing so much of this in the past few decades.
Those "Imams" calling themselves Muslim, say they are preaching the teachings of Islam.
The Qu'ran does not tell people to murder. Its does say something around the lines of "you may fight to protect your family and faith from agressors", but I don't see how someone can interpret that as "encourage war against another country and blow yourself up in a marketplace in the name of righteousness".
Warping religious teachings for political agendas; its very old and has been widely used, but works the same today.
The major problem seems to be that the kids are relying on the teachings of an Imam, rather than reading an unedited copy of the Qu'ran and seeing for themselves what is actually in the book, and what is just made up.
Its like Crusades in the middle ages - most people couldn't read, the bible was in few languages, so everyone relied on local priests and royalty. Since they had one source warping the teachings for a political agenda, and no bible, they had no way to know that what they were learning was untrue, and so went to war for no other reason than being misguided (apart from often being forced by nobility)
I was looking around, and it seems all the quotes - that I found - about killing polytheists and such are later additions. They were not taught by the original prophets, but added most likely in the middle ages by religious leaders for political reasons. Similar to the stuff I found in the bible. Jesus talks about peace, but some other dudes who lived centuries later talk about killing unbelievers.

I think the Palestinians at least are not fighting for Islam but for an independent Palestine.
What do you hope to achieve by pointing out that we have Child Muslim suicide bombers? Is this just another excuse to bash Islam, just exactly what sort of debate can evolve from this thread? We have seen the video, there is no denying that there are Muslim Child suicide bombers, but isntead many will take this as an excuse to bash Islam. I am sure this topic will turn out like all the other Islam topics . . .Originally Posted by JP226
