Default How do I install Medieval II outside of Program Files?

Yeah, I'm trying to play Third Age plus Divide and Conquer, but with the five minute turn times, it makes it very hard to sit through all but a few turns. Now, I have heard many say that moving the Medieval II folder out of the Program Files folder helps it significantly for anything encountering this problem on Windows 7, but I cannot seem to find or figure out how to do it.

    Any help please?

The turn times are based on the script, more specific the number of monitors in it (both mods are very script intensive) and your processing speed - the game uses only one core so the number of cores does not help. Moving the game will not help.

Moving the game out of the program files folder will avoid the virtual store issue (mod files not being read) - but that can be achieved by running this tutorial.
