If I remember correctly MTW only had a max resolution of 1600x1200, hopefully this gets updated/optimized for newer systems.

I've got some fresh news : those games will get compatibility for win 7 & 8, large screens, 16:9 and 4:3. Medieval will only get LAN MP because of gamespy shutdown. Shogun will get steam MP apparently, to be confirmed.

That's very odd. CA can't be bound to Gamespy anymore if Gamespy is defunct...

I guess that can be bypassed via Gameranger though, since it operates on LAN.

I really want to get the games and complete my series, whilst also enjoying the old school style of total war.

However there is nothing posted in the "upcoming releases" on steam, the new DLC for Attila is there but nothing for Shogun and Medieval.

Perhaps it will be a instant release for tomorrow or its been postponed, as CA has said nothing on the topic since it was unveiled in the rallypoint episode.
