Why no Demigryphs?

I've put many hours into this mod, its awesome but i've always wondered why the Empire factions don't have Demigryph Knights in their rosters? I can understand not including Griffons because they fly but theirs different mounts for other factions like the Cold Ones for the Druchii or the Boars for the Orcs? It has me curious

I could be wrong and their may be a unit of Demigryphs hidden in their somewhere but I haven't found it.

Dunno, but then there'd need to be griffons and that's probably just not gonna work with MTW2

Just take a look at how Cold one Knights fight in melee and you will have part of the answer.The amount of work needed to create non horse mount is just way to high for non payed devs.They can add like 15 "normal" units in same time it would take them to make Demigryphs.

they would be sick.. but empire is so overpowered anyway, other factions and balancing are the priority at the moment

also the development of this mod started before eight edition army book came out with demigryphs, luminark, and the hurricanum. those are fairly new additions to the warhammer world(relatively speaking). I tried my hand at making them, when I made Nuln ironsides and Infernal Guard from Tamurkhan: Throne of Chaos but I had a hard time making the head proportionate to the body, not to mention getting the model to fit a decent skeleton.
