What do you mean? What is needed for an MP EDU that you can't get with the one used in single player?

i am using latest version of EB , no mods installed

thing is that battles do not have the sharpness they had in EB1.

cavalry charges do not feel like cavalry charges
also k ratio is very low
    skirmishing is a pain

on other hand i like everything is slow cos you cant make arcade moves like 360 degree running around enemy units ( you can but its not gona get you anywhere) but still, it doesnt feel right kinda

also not sure about this, but unit cohesion/fighting is a bit strange

Firstly, one unfortunate thing is that the battle engine for M2TW just isn't as good as that of RTW. One of the many instances of CA going for form over function, they wanted spiffy graphics and cared much less about gameplay. That's why we've had such a torrid time trying to fix the battle physics for EBII.

Battles aren't as sharp as EB1, cohesion is definitely an issue we're still working on.

Cavalry charges, however, work just fine if you execute them correctly. How are you doing them? Are you charging from far away enough? Are you using one-click charges? Is your cavalry properly formed up before you have them charge?

"k ratio"? Do you mean kill ratio? That's set where we wanted it, you shouldn't be able to kill half a unit with a single charge, nor should melee be over in 30 seconds.

    What's the problem with skirmishing?

i ll check cavalry charges, maybe i am just too used to arcade games. if they work like you said that would be awesome. (long distance needed to get stomping power)

nvm skirmishing, i just saw that its better than i thought. my bad

Units responding instantly to orders is unrealistic anyway.

Default we dont need to divide mp edu and sp edu

    many people have misconception
they think when we use mp edu to campaign it will make cdt
but there is no cdt and bugs just ignore ownership from edu

About the cavalry charges, mostly they work fine but, sometimes there are a few (2-5) soldiers who outrun all the others and charge into the enemy, but as soon as they reached the enemy, the whole unit slows down and gets into the fighting mode.

It would be cool if this was fixed, although, it may make cavalry even more overpowered (cav > ai currently imo).
