I may have just overlooked it. But is anyone gonna do a Peloponesian/Hellenistic era mod for M2?
I really hope so. I would love to help, but I'm only slightly better than computer illiterate.

So I am SUCH an oddball freak that only me and one other person would be into a hellenistic era mod?
When small men attempt great enterprises, they always end by reducing them to the level of their mediocrity.

I think the main problem: its a total conversion effort, equating to masses of work. I'd like to see one myself, but the levels of work are vast, given the sheer number of units required to create graphically (far more than in RTW, due to the new system of unit skinning), the number of models (you'll need to redo cities completely). Its the problem any ancient period mod has. The level of commitment is vast. I tried to look into alleviating this level of work in this post her: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=67012
blatantly ignored however by the majority. If the community shows some unity and willingness to contribute to a centralized "ancient modding community" ancient period mods are going to have a major quality issue simply because there is not a huge amount of graphics artists. While heading up IR for RTW, the principle reason I pinned its collapse down to was the need for a large number of graphics artists, which simply did not exist within the community at large, because certain mods, mentioning no names sucked in all the talent....
